Artist Bio
Wonhee had attended various museums and concert halls, and was fascinated by the displays in the exhibitions and the performances. The Jewels of Tiffany 1837-2007 influenced her to become a jeweler and metal artist.
She completed her BFA degree in Jewelry and Metal Arts at the Academy of Art University in May 2018, and completed the Jewelry Design and Technology program in Gemological Institute of America. She uses symbols and key forms from memorable events and creates them in a unique style influenced by her fascination with Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Her most recent work is a series of jewelry inspired by the musical, Rudolf (The Last Kiss in Korea), in Seoul.
